Michele Kane
Michele H. Kane, Esq. has been with Joyce & Associates, P.C. since 2004. She has successfully represented clients in a wide range of immigration matters before various Immigration Courts as well as U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Ms. Kane has experience handling complex litigation before the immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the U.S. District Court and U.S. Circuit Courts of Appeal. Ms. Kane received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. While at BUSL, Ms. Kane clerked at the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and served as Managing Editor of the Boston University Law Review. Ms. Kane worked as an Asylum Representation Project Intern at the International Institute of Boston, helping to staff the walk-in immigration clinic and assisting in the representation of clients seeking asylum. She has also volunteered with the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation Project. Prior to entering law school, Ms. Kane worked at the Center for International Development at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. Ms. Kane is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association.
